Re: Accessing Apps using IP address
Lets see. Its a private network with 17 different campuses. We use the private IP range of 10.228.* where one campus will use 10.228.10.1 to 10.228.19.254, the next campus 10.228.20.1 to 10.228.29.254, etc. I'm going to mess with it and see what I can make happen.

Re: New Drive restore
Awesome. I'd be happy to test out the clonezilla functionality, especially if it will allow me to make an image once and upload it to multiple HDA's.

Re: Options for larger DHCP pools
I'd love to assist, but I have limited time with work and graduate school. Any help I can offer, just send me a PM.

Accessing Apps using IP address
How do I access apps from a separate IP pool? I have a feeling it involves editing the apache confs for the individual apps, but I'm not sure how. I tried http://IP_of_HDA/tcexam but that redirects to the HDA start page. The situation is that I am putting one HDA on a network that has several IP poo...

Re: New Drive restore
In my situation I would use an FTP server and a Cobian backup to backup the desktop and the my documents folders on the important computers, but for those that aren't important (student lab computers) i just want a bare metal backup to quickly restore and get them back up.

Re: New Drive restore
This is a pro-style feature. Hard drives go bad at work all the time and we rarely have the same size drives laying around as the original. I'm thinking of a quick way to put in a new drive (usually larger, but sometimes smaller) in the client and pull an image off the server to get them back up and...

Options for larger DHCP pools
I'd like to use Amahi in a school setting to handle bare metal backups and DHCP reservations, but some of these schools can have upwards of 300 individual computers. I'd like to be able to have DHCP hand out IP addresses over a range like 10.228.10.3 to 10.228.14.254. I know that isn't going to happ...

New Drive restore
I haven't tried this yet, but I was wondering if you can add a larger drive to your computer (or replace a dead drive with a newer one), then restore the image from the old drive onto the new one.
