is there a way to re-name HDA to the server name? so when I try to get to a share it would be \\<servername>\share and not \\hda\share

my question is: can my nickname count be reset or can a delete one be recovered? I mistakingly deleted my original, which was just my nickname but now it keeps appending the number count at the end (example: <nickname>-2, <nickname>-3 and so on).
