The problem seems to be resolved. While I was (re)installing the HDA, I had to change the IP/DNS settings on the Windows "client" several times. When the HDA was done I restarted my Windows machine and I was under the impression that the DNS/IP was set back to DYNAMIC. When I looked again ...
