BF, no, I can't access the dashboard but I'm about to turn off DHCP on my ATT Router and I hope that will give me access. I really appreciate all you help. I just hope I can get Amahi up and running. I was about to give up for a while.

Re: Need help at the Amahi install commands page. . . .
I finally got it, BF. However, now I can't get my dashboard to show up. I have a gateway/router from AT & T and then I have my own Linksys Wireless router. Do I turn off DHCP in both in order for my network to work as it should?

First, I can't figure out how to change lines for the three commands. As it stands now, when I put in the first command line, I have to press enter and I get this message: "error": can't create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock (permission denined). I must be missing something. Yo...

Re: Will not accept any characters in password space. . . .
After you explained that the characters of the password would be accepted but would not show up on the screen, I was able to log in. Now, however, I cannot get the system to accept the three separate commands. I get a number of response messages including "error: can't create transaction lock o...

Re: Will not accept any characters in password space. . . .
Big, I went back and tried it again and even if the characters don't show up, the system will not allow me to log in. I am positive I have the password and local host name correctly entered. I forgot to mention that I could not adjust the date and time either when I installed. Something is obviously...

Will not accept any characters in password space. . . .
I followed the install directions carefully. Now I'm at the localhost login screen. The system allows me to enter the login but will not accept any characters in the password space. I need help!
