Re: Last call for logo! Please voice your opinion!

Propeller or Dice, in that order. Propeller is nice because the design looks organic, vaguely resembles the "A" in "Amahi", and looks different than other logos out there.

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

The out port on the wireless router should go into the In port on the wired router. Just like if you were plugging the modem up to it. If I do that, do I also need to configure the WIRELESS router's Operating Mode (under Setup->Advanced Routing) to operate in "Router" mode (instead of &qu...

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

So, I reworked my configuration as <cpg> suggested (http://www.drewvogel.com/images/netmap1.jpg), and everything works fine EXCEPT that the HDA doesn't see the network at all . I tried re-installing Fedora Core 10 on the HDA from the DVD, and when I get to the screen where I can add repositories, I ...

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

I am going to try rewiring everything this evening... I'll turn off everything connected to the routers, switch the wires around, and reboot the computers. Do I also need to reset the routers (pull their power cords for a few minutes)? What should I expect after this? Will it all just "work&quo...

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

Helpful IRC member <cpg> suggested the following revision to my netmap. Does this make sense as the best way to reconfigure my stack? http://www.drewvogel.com/images/netmap1.jpg

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

Thanks for your help on the forum and in IRC. I appreciate it! I will be back in the IRC this evening, around 6pm EST. If you're around then, I will connect with you. I've got port configurations for other machines on the network (my Personal Video Recorder needs specific ports open), but that is, I...

Re: Network works after Linux install; not after Amahi install

I am running Fedora Core 10 on a PC. "ifconfig" tells me the following, but I am not sure how to determine the information needed for Amahi's configuration from it. Can you help? [drew@home ~]# ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:02:E3:14:C5:12 inet addr:10.188.94.139 Bcast:10.188....
