Re: Moved Landing Zone. Now Hidden/Missing and Still Uses Root?
Yes if you unmount the drive, you can then move the public folder and it's contents. That would probable be best. ... The only way to remove the duplicate is by editing the hda_production database. It's best to do using a web app, such as adminer or phpmyadmin . unmount, move contents, re-mount, an...

Re: Moved Landing Zone. Now Hidden/Missing and Still Uses Root?
Thanks for the quick reply! Does any of this make sense? Drive is found but not mounted properly? (where is the "public" folder now then??) [astinusofmetate@localhost drives]$ df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on devtmpfs 3.8G 0 3.8G 0% /dev tmpfs 3.9G 0 3.9G 0% /dev/shm tmpfs ...

SOLVED: Moved Landing Zone. Now Hidden/Missing and Still Uses Root?
(Running Amahi 9 w/ Fedora 23) I recently attempted to move one of the landing zones and it appears I only performed the process half right. The tools I use to interface with the server is the PuTTY program and the web-app eXtplorer (through my Windows 10 PC) I first used the disk wizard to format a...

Re: Photo Gallery for Network Shares?
It worked! I created a symlink to the shares folder inside the galleries directory and then, within the Adminstrator tools, I ran the synchronize function. Bam! Photos now show up in Piwigo. Next step is to implement search/organize by tag (which I think is a plugin option). Note to others: for this...

Re: Photo Gallery for Network Shares?
Thanks for the link. I got scared once I read that it calls for working with Perl (yet another programming language I don't know how to deal with..) so I spent some time digging around the Piwigo forums this evening and it looks like the recurring recommendation over there is to create a symlink. Gi...

Re: Photo Gallery for Network Shares?
Just came across this: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/4rqb0i/web_based_photo_viewer_without_uploading_photos/ I think if I can put a symbolic link in the piwigo /galleries/ directory that points to the Pictures share, I might be on the right track. Maybe. I presume I should create a lo...

SOLVED: Photo Gallery for Network Shares?
Now that I have some photos uploaded to my Pictures network share, I'm trying to figure out a good way to share those pictures across devices in a neat and tidy fashion. In my mind, the ideal scenario is the client side viewer would have the option to group the photos in the Pictures share by pre-ex...

Re: CLOSED: More Greyhole Write Issues - WARN write: No metadata files could be created -- not creating 'gh' subfolder?
Thanks for the quick reply. I do understand the concept of Greyhole (mostly) after reading the Wiki about 10 times. What wasn't clear to me is why the drive space didn't show the data transfer. But now, for whatever reason, the disk usage is now reporting correctly. I assumed "fsck" did so...
