Re: UEFI unable to recognize F27/A11 media
OK, I finally figured out what was happening. I think that the F27/A11 installation software has a minor bug which shows up when installing on the ASRock J4105-ITX motherboard. I originally thought that it was a failure to install as the installation attempts would start to look like install was hap...

Re: UEFI unable to recognize F27/A11 media
Kind of what I expected. The BIOS has ZERO support for legacy boot, it is UEFI or nothing. From what I have been able to find so far this is common on INTEL Gemini Lake platforms as they provide support for UEFI mode only. I'm going to borrow a motherboard from a friend that supports legacy and see ...

SOLVED: UEFI unable to recognize F27/A11 media
I replaced my old motherboard (was from an old Acer desktop, Aspire X-3400) with a new ASRock J4105-ITX motherboard and at the same time installed a small 30GB SSD to hold the OS. I had previously downloaded the following files (linked from Amahi 11 install page): Amahi-11-x86_64.iso Fedora-Server-n...

Re: Fully removing files from greyhole
Thanks for pointing in the right direction. I have been looking at this over a period of days and saw the reference you site for trash but that was a couple of days ago and when I figured out what was probably causing my problem had forgotten that area, Just proves RTFM or in this case RTFW. Please ...

SOLVED: Fully removing files from greyhole
I’m having a problem with removing files from greyhole. I started with a clean load of Fedora 25 and Amahi 10 to ensure that the problem I was seeing was repeatable and not a onetime anomaly. After the load I installed the Disk Wizard, Disk Stats, and Shell in A Box apps. Next added three additional...

Re: 192.168.0.10 vs HDA
In my 35+ years working on Fire Control Radars I've seen strange stuff at times with electronics and their associated controllers so I'll believe it.
I have changed my bookmark for the HDA dashboard to reflect http://hda instead of the IP address.
Thanks for your response

CLOSED: 192.168.0.10 vs HDA
I have been accessing the dashboard by typing in the IP address of my HDA for the past several weeks since my last install. I continuously receive the "Your device is probably not using your HDA for DNS yet. We recommend the following for best experience." Over this period of time I have r...

Re: Adding new drives with disk wizard to work with greyhole
Thanks for the help. It now appears to be working as the Disk Stats page on the dashboard shows the used portion of the disks in the storage pool increasing as greyhole is writing the extra copies. Looks like the stopping and restart of greyhole caused whatever was held up to disappear and allow nor...

Re: Adding new drives with disk wizard to work with greyhole
Sorry I missed the greyhole.conf data, if I did it correctly I believe that you are looking for lines 25 - 27 of the following URL
https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/g ... BP9jVZzhlg
I did the update and have the latest as the reply was nothing to do.

Re: Adding new drives with disk wizard to work with greyhole
Hope I did this right as I don't know Linux and am reading whatever I can find to give me a clue. I first used the command ls /var/hda/files/drives/BC2 and received gh and lost+found which to my unfamiliar mind tells me that I do have a gh file on each disk as I received the same response from BC3 a...
