Re: system can't seem to see network

I did a complete reinstall of fedora 23 & amahi 9 to see if that would fix the issue, but no dice. Had no problem when it was just the straight fedora, but once I put amahi on it & rebooted it couldn't see anything again. I am running my own router after my roommates router so I don't have t...

Re: system can't seem to see network

I have tried ifconfig, netstat, & route from terminal. All return command not found. Tried 'Non Default Network Set-ups' from network troubleshooting as it's the only thing there I can even try. It did nothing to my problem. Will no one even try to help me with this or am I just going to have to...

Re: system can't seem to see network

I now have the system plugged into a network switch like I had at my old place & it still won't work. All the networking help on the wiki about letting the server handle DNS is also useless if I can't even get it so show up anywhere on my network.

system can't seem to see network

I just moved and am trying to get my amahi server up again. I can get the system & fedora to boot, but it doesn't seem to connect to the router I'm using. The router doesn't say it's connected and all the network commands I try other than ping say they aren't found. Ping just returns unknown hos...

Re: Install networking error Amahi 9

Control Panel still saying Waiting install, but I have a proper apps page now. That's good enough for me. Thank you very much for your help, both in this thread & the other.

Re: Install networking error Amahi 9

With reinstall #3, Amahi has gone through. On my amahi.org/users page, it still says Waiting install, though. I can access & use the dashboard too, but the apps page is completely empty.

Re: Install networking error Amahi 9

Followed it for everything up through the fedora part. Installed nano then tried Amahi. Nano went just fine, Amahi through an error. More than willing to run another install attempt, but change the order I run that stuff.

Re: Plex not installing from dashboard

Went ahead and reinstalled. Says

Code: Select all

curl: (7) failed to connect to localhost port 80: connection refuses
during Amahi installation. Going to go to the right part of this board to troubleshoot this, so you can close this topic now. I'm just typing the error here so I can copy it.

Re: Plex not installing from dashboard

I've been thinking about that from before I even started this thread. At least I wont have to transfer all my files to it again, that would be the worst on the things 10/100 networking
