Re: OwnCloud 9 one-click?
Definitely interested. I'm not trying to used NextCloud as a back up. I want the functionality NextCloud offers and I also want to back up all my files as well. It seems it would be more complicated to back them up with ranapshot on a regular basis if I do decide to use NextCloud. I'm trying to gain...

Re: Added auto mount external USB, now cant see HDA remotely
This is what I referenced: https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Rsnapshot Followed through the auto mount instruction. How do you check for proper function after you run "mount -a"? Go to the directory and add a file or something? Can I use the CD I used to install fedora? I made the CD using ...

Re: Added auto mount external USB, now cant see HDA remotely
Awe man, no way!! I followed the Amahi wiki on mounting external drives and setting up rsnapshot. Only got to the auto mount section and rebooted once I edited the fstab file.
Bummer!!

Added auto mount external USB, now cant see HDA remotely
Hello, Today I added an external usb disk drive and set it to mount automatically. I rebooted my HDA after I did all that, but now can't see my HDA via OpenVPN or SSH. I can't see it in my control panel on Amahi.org either. I can ping it with success and had my wife reboot the server a few times sin...

Re: OwnCloud 9 one-click?
I would love to try NextCloud 10! Please let me know next steps. My only concern is the complexity of backing it up to an external drive. I plan on backing my HDA up using rsnapshot on a regular basis. If my HDA ever craps out, I would like easy access to backup files on the external usb drive. I gu...

Re: OwnCloud 9 one-click?
Thanks big, as always! I was not aware of the backstory. Now that I've read up on it, it seems Nextcloud would make more sense for me. I see that NextCloud 10 is only available for the test group. Is there a single click install for NC9 if I join the test group(assuming it's open to anyone)? By the ...

OwnCloud 9 one-click?
Is the one click install not available for version 9? I'm considering installing it, but I really don't want to over complicate my HDA. I would love the functionality OwnCloud has to offer as it appears some of the basic Amahi features are a little short of what I'm looking for. It seems like the tr...

Re: Amahi and Amazon Prime Members
Thanks Bigfoot. I actually came across that and am going to try that out soon.
Unlimited cloud storage on amazon is $60/yr, which really isn't bad at all. I would pay that much for offsite redudancy.
Anyway, I will report back with feedback once I start messing with that.

Amahi and Amazon Prime Members
Hello, I know Amahi uses Amazon to host the sync app, but I was wondering if there are any apps or was to interface Amahi with those who are also Prime members. I love my HDA and am setting up redundancy storage with a nightly back up to an external drive, but I am planning for the worst... theft or...
