Can't access my HDA. I know what the password is or should be, but it is not accepted. Is this an easy fix or am I better to reinstall and start again?

At the risk of irritating you further, why would I start a new topic when it is the same problem? The topic wasn't closed? Troubleshooting HDA/Amahi when you're only a dabbler is at the least daunting at worst a nightmare. I can read and re-read instructions without understanding any of it. Call me ...

Got it working thanks.
Retracing my steps, the mistake I made was accidentally leaving out ".rpm" on the end of the command when I was typing it in: rpm -Uvh http://f25.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm
Duh . . .

This is what I get when I try to install from root . . .

rpm -Uvh http://f25.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm

404 not found . . . skipping . . . failed

dnf -y install hda-ctl

No package hda-ctl available
Error: Unable to find a match

Sorry, but both of the links to Amahi 10 in Docs don't work?
By the way, I found a CD with the Amahi/Fedora 25 install on it.
However, it fails because it can't find the repositories . . .

Just a thought. If I do a reinstall, with the external hard drives attached, will they be picked up and added during the installation process?
