Re: Large File Transfers Cause Web Browsing Problems
I experience this at onetime, but changing my LZ fixed the problem.Does this happen when transferring smaller files ?I would recheck your settings for your LZ/s to make sure they are correct. The DNS problem only happens when your transferring files ? Have you tried using a public DNS server like goo...

Re: I need some advice...
You would have no problems running what you require with Amahi. There is also plenty of help available on the forums & Wiki. 1- Amahi has the ability to store all file types (pics,video,backups,etc...) 2- There are many apps that will accomplish these tasks for you.Just check-out the app store. ...

Re: Greyhole ?
Finally have time to get the server backup and running. I tried turning the advanced setting on and off several times to no avail.I'll give uninstalling and reinstalling a go.If that doesn't work I'll file a bug report.

Re: What does Greyhole do when a drive goes bad?
If a drive goes bad in the greyhole pool you'd lose that data on that drive only. This is why it's recommended to keep 2 copies in the pools of data you don't want to lose.So you'd still have access to that data(different drive). I'm unaware of Greyhole/Amahi giving out warning that drive going/gone ...

Re: Hard Drive is filling, not sure why
This is what I'd look into also,be sure that your share LZ/'s are located on the biggest drive in your pool.Or move them to several different drives in the pool(this is what I always do). What about Greyhole? That is default location of the LZ.

Re: Greyhole ?
Ok, I don't see anything that would cause this issue. Try disabling Advanced Settings , then re-enable them. If that does not work, please submit a bug report . Provide as much detail as possible and include the fpaste URL as well. We will have to investigate more. Unfortunately,my motherboard just...

Re: help with basic amahi /fedora 21 install
Your install code will be installed via the command-line.Did you follow the Amahi 8 Wiki ? https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_8_Install Scroll down to Amahi 8 install and run those commands. You'll input your code with the last command. If you've already done this and it is still giving you probl...

Re: Greyhole ?
I checked the app installer log files and there doesn't appear to be any errors.According to the logs all went just fine.I even grep -i error /var/log messages and the only thing that was there involved DLNA not able to access music share which I know why. I'll give a reboot a try too. Thanks for you...
