I am not part of any development team, but i AM curious what other users would like to see in Amahi 9!
So everybody, what do YOU think is much needed in Amahi 9?
I'm not really missing anything atm other then a good, integrated mailserver!

Re: Concerto Digital Signage server
Concerto Digital Signage has already been packaged for Amahi, but not maintained by the user who contributed it. If you or someone else wants to take over maintenance of it, that would be wonderful. Please let me know and I can provide access. I welcome help from others packaging apps for Amahi. Do...

Re: Concerto Digital Signage server
I have to say that Amahi instructions are far more clear than Concerto's site. (That's just a little plug for you guys.) The site give steps for installing from source but they are not complete enough. If you look at https://github.com/concerto/concerto/wiki/Installing-Concerto-2 you will see that ...

Re: File shares super slow from OSX
Hey, Thats a problem more users seem to have, and it appears unrelated to Amahi, and more so related to the SMB implementation in OS X. if memory serves correctly, it has to do with OS X using a different implementation of SMB then Samba (which is the backend for file sharing on linux/Amahi) There i...

Re: AmahiTunes on iPad?
Apple software uses a different protocol on the ipad. You could download media:connect from the appstore, and install a DLNA compatible app from the amahi app centre :) if i'm correct (i dont use media:connect) you can even play video's on your ipad then :) let me know how it goes! i have my whole h...

Re: Folders not being shared anymore
have you tried rebooting?
Also, perhaps setting the shares anew in the HDA dashboard, maybe that fixes it for you?

Re: Server Certificates
everyone has "Self signed certificates".. What you can do, is turn to a certificate authority, they shouldn't cost too much to buy. that way, depending on the certificate you buy, you get rid of the certificate warnings all together :) see this: https://www.instantssl.com/ if you need help...

Re: Trying to add a network card. lspci shows nothing.
Have you tried booting from a liveCD? Preferably a totally different distrobution, maybe Mint (though i don't know if they have a liveCD) or Ubuntu. wether it works or not, at least it gives us a clue as to where we should be looking! So my suggestion is, try a LiveCD, and see what comes up, post th...
