Re: SOLVED: "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

Thanks a lot for confirming that. I wasn't aware of the connection between the DHCP lease and where the DNS is sourced. That's useful to know and explains a lot of things that weren't clear to me up to now...

Re: "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

The suggestion to update Amahi brought me to the source of the problem. Yum was unable to find any download mirrors, which indicated that it wasn't finding the router's DNS server. That was also the reason no available apps were displayed in the Amahi web console: it wasn't seeing anything outside t...

Re: "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

That is already what I'm doing. That's what I meant when I said I was using the IP address to access it. I can see the web interface just fine. I can also view the libraries and play the media. What i can't do any more is log in to the server from the web interface, to make deeper changes like turni...

Re: "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

I don't think the Amahi wiki posting can be relevant here. It's flagged as out of date and explicitly warns that it's not for the packaged version of Plex but for the older version, which isn't what I'm using.

SOLVED: "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

I have the Amahi Plex package installed and I have Amahi's DHCP and DNS turned off as I don't want to have the server running 24/7. So DHCP and DNS are handled by my router. I did have Amahi's DHCP and DNS running for a while, but then switched back to my router. I've been accessing everything I nee...

Re: SOLVED: Apache SVN Config Problem

Is it possible for you to add the reference you used and maybe some info that might help others who would perform this setup? Your experience would be beneficial, especially for those who have the same network configuration as you do. I just tried that and spent quite a while setting up a wiki acco...

Re: SOLVED: Apache SVN Config Problem

If you have time and are willing, please update the wiki guidance. There will be other users who are trying to do the same thing. I don't think I should do that because that's not the method I used. The wiki explains how to set up svn as an Amahi webapp, which doesn't work for me at the moment sinc...

Re: Apache SVN Config Problem

Hard to say. Could it be the special character in the path? Not in any paths that I created or referenced. That's what makes it strange. However, I just discovered the solution: For some reason Apache also needs an alias to the repository location, in addition to the SVNParentPath reference in the ...

SOLVED: Apache SVN Config Problem

The Apache SVN configuration instructions on the Amahi Wiki appear to be out of date so I'm just doing a non-webapp install based on these instructions here: http://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2010/install-svn-subversion-server-on-fedora-centos-red-hat-rhel/ Almost everything went fine. I can log...
