This started happening when I switched my DNS/DCHP settings to start using my hda.
If I search for something in my browser and it's the wrong address it redirects me to "http://anything.com/" This is a spam site selling a bunch of junk. Why does Amahi redirect to this site?

Re: "Private Internet Access-VPN" and Transmission
I have seen the Amahi OpenVPN. If I understand it correctly it allows you to be on any network, connect to your own hda and use your hda's ip address. What I would like to do is be on my hda's network and use PIA's vpn to use their ip address. Specifically I just want to have all of my Transmission ...

SOLVED: Creating a Shortcut for \\hda In Windows 7
Hello all, Is it possible to create a shortcut in windows 7 to access my shares? I would like to access the media folders on the HDA to add media from one of my clients. Windows 7 has all the links to your favourite folders on the left side of the file browser. I don't seem to be able to add a link ...

"Private Internet Access-VPN" and Transmission
I just installed the Transmission app on my HDA. I was under the impression that Transmission was able to run PIA's VPN, but I can't seem to figure this one out.
Does anyone have experience setting up a VPN service for the HDA version of Transmission?
Thanks,
Kaspr

Re: Stuck on step 4 of Express Install
Everything is working now. This is what I think was wrong, but I don't have a lot of experience in networks or Linux. For some reason I kept losing my connection on the HDA. In order to connect again I would have to refresh all of the IP addresses. This meant my HDA IP address kept changing. On my l...

Re: Stuck on step 4 of Express Install
I renewed the client IP Address via the instructions. I am using "Amahi-7.1-x86_64-DVD.iso".

Re: Stuck on step 4 of Express Install
I reinstalled and used a wired connection. I am now able to connect through putty and execute commands. I am unable to access my HDA through my windows laptop using either the hda ip or http://hda. I did the interactive troublshooter and this is the result from step 4: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/967...

Re: Stuck on step 4 of Express Install
I cannot access the HDA via IP. The IP is 192.168.1.9. When I try that in multiple browsers I get "This webpage is not available/timed out" The HDA is not showing up on wireless. I can only see it through my router/modem (SmartRG sr505n) settings when wired with ethernet. I am using my Len...
