Re: Amahi Mail System
Does that make sense? EDIT: BTW I added this as a known potential issue to the wiki guidance for the Amahi Mail System . Yup. Sure does. When I have some more time later this weekend I will try it. I will unhash clamAV in mail script if install proceeds without issue and report back. Cheers!

Re: Amahi Mail System
It's still in testing, so in BETA status. You can also do a manual install by following the guidance on the Amahi Mail System wiki page. I caution you that this is for advanced users and not inexperienced Linux folks. You could break your HDA if not careful. We don't offer any support as it's not r...

Re: SOLVED: Out of space in "shares"-lots of free space on d
Let us know what the error is that prevents Greyhole from starting. You stated you followed manual Greyhole setup . Is it possible you missed a step? Stalled out here on rpm install: Installing : amahi-greyhole-0.9.60-3.x86_64 1/1 ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/amahi-greyhole.service' '/etc/systemd...

Re: SOLVED: Out of space in "shares"-lots of free space on d
So let me just see if I follow: 1. Leave root (/) partition as is on sda5 2. Mount /home on same disk as ( / ) as well (I would have to shrink sda5 to allow for the new partition, correct? How much? 3. Use sda5 (/) as Greyhole LZ 4. Mnt sdb1 as hdd1 (do I need to format or clean the partition struc...

Re: SOLVED: Out of space in "shares"-lots of free space on d
I have sda5 as / (500gb), sdb1 is /home (4TB). I would like to shrink sda5 (gparted) to about 50gb (leaving /root intact) format the rest and partition and mount as sda6. Then I would like to pool the sda6 and sdb1 (greyhole) to be seen as a single volume and place all my shares there. 1. What is t...

Re: Out of space in "shares" - lots of free space on drive
Great to hear. This is not the best solution, but for those with limited Linux experience it works. Ideally you would want to repartition the drive so root has the bulk of the space vs home. I have a similar scenario. Very, very, very green with linux...but I was able to install, upgrade and config...
