Amahi 8 Longterm Stability
I'm still running Amahi 7/Fedora 19 on my server with great success. I believe the server has been up for nearly 200 days of uptime last I checked, serving as my DHCP server, Plex server, SAB, Couchpotato, Sickbeard, Few TB of File storage, and few other minor things all working flawlessly. I've got...

Re: File shares super slow from OSX
Thought I'd update this since I still see it brought up a lot. For right now, if your on 10.10.x or more, do yourself a favor and download this little program called SMBconf. Download form the link below: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/50723/smbconf Yeah nothing Amahi related..Apple made the defau...

Re: Headphones App Update
Yea, Headphones app did originally add the "service" start/restart but I uninstalled the one from the Amahi store and then manually installed the newest version. I just thought their might be a quick way to add other services. No bid deal though.
Thanksl

Re: Headphones App Update
Nevermind on the original question I just decided to go ahead and uninstall the old version and manually install the newest version and everything installed without issue. That said, I've got another question. Can I add this Service in Amahi under "Settings>Server" to see it's state and st...

Headphones App Update
I installed Deadphones through the Amahi store but I didn't realize that it was an older version (v0.1.2). Any known issues if I uninstall and manually install the newest version of 0.5.5? I'm running a Fedora/Amahi install. Also any plans to update the version from within the store? Just thought I'...

Re: Controlling TFTP Service in HDA Web GUI
Thanks, I'll try it out. I was able to use the TFTP to upgrade my switch firmware and get everything done that I needed so I'll uninstall TFTP and play around with netboot. I finished using tufts for what I needed it for so it won't matter if it breaks now... I'll take a look at the others too. Clon...

Re: Controlling TFTP Service in HDA Web GUI
I'll also add this. I don't know if it matters or not but thought it may help you on answering my original question but when I start tftp I start it as a socket, not a service if that makes sense This code below works: [root@hda /]# systemctl status tftp.socket tftp.socket - Tftp Server Activation S...

Controlling TFTP Service in HDA Web GUI
I installed a TFTP server (yum install tftp-server) on my HDA so that I can update the ROM on my local HP procurve switch and had a question. Normally when apps are installed through Amahi's web panel I can go under "Settings>Servers" and see which services are running (green) or stopped (...

Re: Who has the biggest Amahi system?
I dont consider mine too big either. I lost my dell poweredge server in a fire so I Built the amahi server out of spare parts, and then have 2 macbooks, one imac, 2 windows7 laptops and 1 windows 7 desktop, and then for streaming devices, I've got 3 Roku's, a PS3, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, and a security ...

Re: Samba Service won't start
Nevermind, thanks for your help but the problem here is user error. I was looking more into my Greyhole config and reading over the greyhole wiki and the reasons things are messed up are because I've made changes without fully understanding what I was doing or what those changes would affect. For in...
