Re: Amahi 5.3 Final Release

Goto your HDA web page (http://hda)
Choose 'Setup' and 'Settings'. The version number is displayed in 'System Info: Platform'.
Thanks! My setup had indeed been automagically upgraded to Amahi 5.3. I am one of those who lives dangerously and compulsively keeps Fedora updated too ...

Re: Amahi 5.3 Final Release

This should be a FAQ, and probably has been answered, but I made an effort to search and haven't been able to answer this. How can I confirm that my Amahi box has been upgraded to the latest release? Is there a place where the version shows on the web interface? Thanks.

Re: Some feedback on the KeePass wiki page

I did read in the Keepass forums that if you use a Professional version, the import may not work. Thanks. In Keepass 2.x I exported to a keepass 1,x file, then installed keepass 1.x, loaded the file, and exported to xml. After this I was able to import into Webkeepass. That said, as an experienced ...

Re: Some feedback on the KeePass wiki page

I had no luck naming the import file kdb.xlm (or kbd.xml). I have turned on execute permision for all the *.sh files.

Re: Some feedback on the KeePass wiki page

Good catch! Thanks for the feedback. Another thing that doesn't work is the import of Keepass XML files. This is fairly important for those already using Keepass. I turned on execute permission of all *.sh files but that didn't help. Thanks for your effort. I'll monitor this and wait until I see th...

Re: Webvnc and "locked keyring" (updated)

I like NZmde's solution (delete default keyring) better than mine (have a blank keyring master password). I suggest anyone with this problem looking for a solution try deleting the default keyring first.

Re: Webvnc and "locked keyring" (updated)

I too am having this problem. Were you able to find a resolution? Sorry for the delay, I didn't notice your question right away. I found a work-around, reread my original post starting with "(later - edited on Dec 17)". The password prompt is coming from the keyring. The workaround is to ...

Webvnc and "locked keyring" (updated)

I have upgraded to amahi 5 and f12 fairly smoothly. (It sure is easier if /var/hda/files is mounted on a separate partition, as I had). At the moment I have one minor problem. I have set the Amahi/Fedora box to auto login to facilitate access via WebVNC. When I try to connect with WebVNC after a boo...

Re: PBA tftp open error

Thanks for the quick reply. The PC is homebuilt with a Gigabyte motherboard. I enabled network boot. I have other options, though, including some you mentioned. I just thought I should mention it. ... Hmmm - I just checked administration->services, and tftp is installed but needs the xinetd package ...

PBA tftp open error

I have installed PBA on my Amahi box. When I do a network boot on another computer on the network, it gets a DHCP IP OK and lists the Amahi IP as DNS server. But then I get the error "TFTP OPEN Timeout". Is there something I have to do to enable the Amahi box TFTP server beyond installing ...
