CLOSED: Network connection not Possible - AMAHI 9 Fed 23

Hi All, I am trying to install AMAHI 9 and network connectivity is breaking as soon as the AMAHI Installer sets the STATIC IP address. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Mainboard, 16GB RAM, Intel Core i7. I have disabled the ATHEROS based second NIC onboard and I am using the Intel based onboard NIC. T...

System drive failed. Can I add Greyhole Drives to a new system?

I apologise if this is answered elsewhere. I have had my main system drive fail in the AMAHI server. I have considerable data on the GreyHole pool drives (6x 2TB drives) and was wondering if there is a relatively easy way to add these drives and rebuild the pool without losing data? Before failure t...

Set Amahi DHCP to allocate NTP address to clients

I have installed the AMAHI NTP App/daemon on Amahi 8 (Fedora 21) and I was wondering how I can set the AMAHI DHCP Server to allocate the NTP Address (the address of the AMAHI Server) to the clients as the NTP server. At this stage with the app installed, the clients (particularly IP phones and the l...

Re: Fedora 19 EOL

I just came across this by accident and thought I'd have a read. Although Fedora 19 is EOL it is perfectly safe and a lot more secure than fully supported Windows equivalents, so rest assured your Server is safe. Also security holes shouldn't be a big deal as AMAHI is a HOME server and should not be...

Re: Multiple HDA's on one network

I have my hands on two PC's with a decent amount of Hard Drive storage space in each. I was preferring going to run the two together, preferring to keep the same simplicity that the AMAHI control panel has for day to day apps and configuration, maybe split some of the apps across the devices (runnin...

Re: Multiple HDA's on one network

Thanks. I had a look at that and it doesn't give a really clear indication on how to rename the HDA (to HDA2 or something like that). Also it seems to be based on Fedora 14 and the earlier version of AMAHI. The secondary part, can the two HDA's work as Primary / secondary DNS (as Master / slave zone...

Multiple HDA's on one network

I want to run 2 HDA's on one network. I have some questions on how this would work. I will be running Amahi 7 based on Fedora 19 Firstly. How do you rename the HDA to say HDA2 or something different so there is not conflicting network names? (the only information I could find on the WIKI was for Fed...
