I found Secure Virtual Machine Mode (SVM) in the BIOS and Enabled it.
I no longer see the
kvm disabled by bios

CIFS VFS: ioctl error in smb2_get_dfw_refer rc=-2
show up 9 times same as the number of Shares.

Re: Help on New Install - Shares/Plex/Greyhole oddity

Thanks again. I assume stop the mount_shares_locally service, just to check the correct usage. If I understand the documentation correctly, it needs to be running to use plex with Greyhole correct? Using the fpaste command returns the exact same error. (RESOLVED) https://da.gd/DiRZ I should have als...

Re: Help on New Install - Shares/Plex/Greyhole oddity

Hi Big, Greyhole was installed with the Greyhole-UI App. I may have mistyped, the partitions all look ok in relation to the disk space. In My Dashboard>Disk >Partitions I have as below for all shares. all look identical for each of the shares. //127.0.0.1/Books (partition) 6.26TB(total) 5.95TB (free...

Help on New Install - Shares/Plex/Greyhole oddity

I am not well versed in Linux period and I hope I don't overdo the description without the right details but here it goes: I decided instead of trying to upgrade my AMAHI 7 server, to back up my data and start from scratch on A10. I previously used Greyhole and Plex, everything worked fine. I went t...

Re: Standard Partition Not Working

I went ahead and deleted the /home partition and added the disk space to /. I completed the install for Fedora 25 and Amahi 10. added the Disk Wizard and noticed that when I added the first disk, after I finalized the settings, my console displayed [713.405532] kvm: disabled by bios [714.069804] kvm...

Re: Standard Partition Not Working

I have had the same issue. I have followed the instructions step by step, and after I select Standard Partition and "click to create them automatically." The system creates DATA with a /home (sda5) partition of 1.77 TB fs=xfs SYSTEM with /boot (sda1) 1024 MB fs=ext4; / (sda3) 50GB fs=xfs; ...

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA

The only "gateway" function I can think of is that it has a USB printer attached that other computers use through my office pc. But they use the office pc's username and password to access the printer. Other than that, I don't see any another gateway type function. [ Post made via Android ...

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA

Here comes the monkey wrench: After all these changes we have discussed, I have been trying several things. The only one that makes a significant change (ie does not cause internet issues) is shutting down my office computer. If my office computer is on, all other devices have issues resolving DNS. ...

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA

I called TWC and asked them to disable the DNS server function on the router. It appears the option used to be there but they removed it from the interface. I am still seeing their DNS addresses on the router. I may call and ask them to change it to 8.8.8.8. Or should I ask them to set it to my HDA ...

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA

The HDA is providing IP addresses. That I have verified. The default gateway is still the Ubee router but as you mentioned it may still be using their DNS and thus causing this issue. I will keep looking into it. Thanks for your help. If I am unable to Disable DNS on the router, I guess the alternat...
