I was planning to post there as well, but I guess I was wondering if there were other solutions from an Amahi standpoint. For example, mounting the drive differently or what have you.
If not, I'll head that way. Thanks!

Need advice about my backup/ownCloud setup
I've been using running ownCloud on my HDA which then stores all of it's data on a 1TB external drive connect by USB. I've used it kind of like a simple backup system and I love the file sharing functionality. My thought is that if I need to restore data, I can unplug the external, plug it into my P...

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA
Well, you can disregard, it just happened again while I was using my Router for DHCP. The issue must be somewhere else.

Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA
I've been using my HDA for almost a year and love it. Have had no problems. The HDA manages DHCP/DNS and my router's DHCP/DNS is disabled. Today though, it seems that the HDA is having problems resolving DNS to any computers on the network. Everything will be working great, then randomly, opening an...

Re: USB ext3 drive seen by OS but can't mount it
So essentially, start from scratch by totally reformatting the drive in ext3 again? That's quite a time-intensive process and I don't see how a freshly formatted drive being reformatted will change anything. If you think that's the best option, I can go that route. USB ext3 drive seen by OS but can't mount it
I'm running Fedora 19 and Amahi 7. I have a 1TB external USB drive that I want to use with my server. My ultimate goal is to run my ownCloud install entirely off of that external hard drive. Originally, it was formatted as NTFS. I would plug it into the HDA, it would be recognized, then I would run ...

Re: Yet Another USB Hard Drive Question
That's to be expected and I wouldn't be offended. At the very least, fact-checking would be required so that people don't end up messing up a setting or file accidentally because of some bad information. I requested an account for the Wiki and I'm waiting for approval. Once that happens I'll look in...

Re: Yet Another USB Hard Drive Question
On a different note, I have another question that is unrelated to my OP. Should I post that here or start a new thread?

Re: Yet Another USB Hard Drive Question
A section for just USB drives would be great. I ended up not reading the page for a while because I was uncertain that it did actually apply to USB drives. I may make some changes/additions based on my experiences. Also, good to know that it is open for anyone to make edits to as I've had a few idea...

Re: Yet Another USB Hard Drive Question
As I mentioned in my OP, I had read through that page several times. I did manage to find the solution though after you forwarded me back there. It was somewhat buried in the "Use the hard drive in your Greyhole storage pool" section where it says in a nondescript sentence, "First, yo...
