Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
Awesome, it worked! I simply reinstalled, then waited and manually turned it on and off for a while. Now, I can see the http://hda Thanks so much for your help. I only have one more question. Can you help me to change the static Ip address of my hda? I know how to do it in my router, just wondering ...

Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
I had the install check both the express cd and the full CD.
Since it isn't even working for the normal Fedora, I see that it can't be Amahi's fault. I'm thinking of trying a full install of Fedora instead of the minimal one, may have more luck there.

Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
There are some log files, but most of them are empty. I found a boot.log that has some contents, but there are no errors or exceptions mentioned in there.

Re: Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
Thanks Bigfoot.
I installed Fedora, and made it as far as with Amahi. There is no logfile in my home directory. Actually, my home is totally empty.
I cannot ping similar to what happened when I tried Amahi. Other ideas?

Thanks, I will check the log when I'm home again.
Meanwhile, can you help me out with a download link for the full dvd? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks

Amahi 7 Express disk - can't ping anything, no nslookup
I installed Amahi 7 on my Thinkpad T420s repeatedly, and am now at the commandline after install. I tried to ping the hda using 192.168.0.50 (the ip address of it), and it says network unreachable. Then I tried nslookup, but it doesn't find the command. What can I do? The settings in the command pan...
