Re: Crashplan and Dropbox on Amahi 9?
Links to the guides on installing both Dropbox and crashplan, as well as access to the crashplan app would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you! I would be happy to try and get it working and report back how if I am able to. In the mean time, I will keep my WHS 2011 running so I don't put my data in d...

Re: Crashplan and Dropbox on Amahi 9?
I have considered Amahi-Sync. Problem #1, you do not have any storage space unless you pay monthly for a premium subscription. Problem #2, even if did pay monthly, the most they offer is 150 GB of storage. I need at LEAST 500GB now, with room to grow. :? Is there a way to create a 'desktop' version ...

Crashplan and Dropbox on Amahi 9?
Hello! I am fairly new to Amahi and am in the process of converting over from Windows Home Server v2. I currently use Dropbox and Crashplan to do off-site & cloud backups. I am trying to figure out how to install Crashplan and Dropbox on Amahi 9. Amahi has instructions on Dropbox installation bu...

Re: How to I add a disk that already has data on it?
Guessing that this isn't for Amahi 7, as Greyhole is not in Amahi 7 (yet) and the instructions are for adding it to a Greyhole storage pool. I can deal with holding off on Greyhole until it is added as part of Amahi 7, but I DO need additional storage space other than what is available on the main s...

Re: Amahi Newbie needing help with installing Apps
All fixed. For whatever reason, none of the one-click installs were visible. I rebooted Amahi and they all showed up. Good to go on this one. Thanks!

Re: What does this mean?
...And therein lies the problem. I do not know how to edit files in Linux (Fedora). Trying to learn quickly, but I'm coming from being a total Windows guy. How do I edit files from the command prompt? (Or is there a better/easier way to do so?

What does this mean?
I am in the middle of the instructions on installing greyhole manually on Amahi 7. So far so good... but in the instructions is now says: Initialize the basic settings for Greyhole, configure /etc/greyhole.conf: Change db_user and db_password to greyhole. How do I change the db_user and db_password?...

Re: Amahi Newbie needing help with installing Apps
Where are these said videos? All I am seeing on that link is the installation help and links to things like this forum... not videos on anything (including adding apps). :/

How to I add a disk that already has data on it?
I am a newbie to Amahi, just coming over from Windows Home Server 2011. I have two 1TB disks (NTFS) that I would like to add to the Amahi server. They already contain data and I would like not to lose that data or have to copy/transfer it if possible. Is there a way to add the drive to the server an...
