How about using "Back in Time" to back up HDA data? I have downloaded and installed it from the list of repositories. It is very simple to use which is good for a linux neophyte like me. So far, it seems to work well to perform a daily scheduled back up of the server data to an attached US...

Well, rather than check SAMBA logging, I took the plunge. I backed it all up and installed Fedora 12 and Amahi 5. It is all working great now! Thank you all.

I am experiencing a similar problem, I think. I am able to access all shares from my Mac. However, when I try to access the shares on the HDA from computers running XP or Vista, I get the "Access is denied" message. I have changed my user passwords on the HDA, and rebooted it. I have flush...
