CM10.1 Android Jelly Bean IPSEC
I had some trouble getting the ipsec vpn working on my nexus 7 running CM10.1 (android jelly bean 4.2.2) I wanted to share that what appears to have allowed it to work was manually changing a line in the config file. in file: /etc/racoon/racoon.conf change line: passive on; to line: passive off; Im ...

Re: Can't reconnect to HDA
zwadder: it sounds like the problem may actually be in the openvpn server configuration.
I am not sure if this will help but you could try looking in this file for errors before resorting to a complete reinstall:
/var/log/openvpn-status.log

Re: Can't reconnect to HDA
I would like to know if the previous version of the hdaconnect app works correctly for you still.
uninstall the one you have installed then install this one.
http://dl.amahi.org/HDAConnect2.exe
So far I have not heard about any reports about any issues like this.

Re: 2 Questions: iPhone & user certs
The VPN that Amahi uses right now is OpenVPN and there is not an OpenVPN client available for the iPhone/iPod. The iPhone/iPod only supports L2TP, PPTP and IPsec. For PPTP I have heard of people using PoPToP . For L2TP/IPsec there is OpenSwan . I am sure there are others but those seem to stand out....

Re: vpn vista problems
There is an updated version of the hdaconnect app with a more recent openvpn component in it. If you still have the need for it please test it and see if it works for you. It should have no problems on windows vista and windows 7, both 32 and 64-bit version.

Re: OpenVPN ALS (Project Adito)
Im unfortunate enough to have that port filtered by my ISP. Can I just forward a usable one(like 888) to port 443 and access it with https://hostname:888?once adito is up and running, all you have to do is forward 443 (https) from your router to the hda.

Re: Torrentflux-b4rt
Reading on the torrentflux-b4rt forums mentions that the 'mainline' bittorrent client does have the DHT feature. I haven't tried it before, I've only ever used bittornado and transmission with it. That should be tested to know if its all working as it should. Edit: ajaxmike: I wish I could be more h...

Re: Torrentflux-b4rt
The app installer will now grab VLC and unrar from rpmfusion IF those repositorys are installed BEFORE torrentflux-b4rt. ajaxmike: torrentflux-b4rt is just a frontend to bittornado(and others). an older version of bittornado at that. I do not think it has a DHT feature like utorrent does. It is poss...

Re: Torrentflux-b4rt
looks like unrar is in the rpmfusion nonfree repo and vlc is in rpmfusion free repo.
