Re: SOLVED: Locally mounted shares / Disk Stats app

No, there is no fix as why there is an open bug report.

It's harmless and won't affect the app.

BTW, we prefer if you start a new post vs using one that is marked CLOSED or SOLVED.

Re: Plex Media Server Setup

Understand and was just trying to manage expectations :) The community is not as active any more, but hopefully someone will help out here. If not, try searching the forums here for guidance. There was quite a bit about Plex Media Server and might be something that will help you with your questions.

Re: Plex Media Server Setup

Hello,

We do not provide support on how to use the applications. That is left up to the vendors.

Recommend you check out the plex-media-server App website. I am sure there is guidance there or search the internet.

Re: Add a BIOS configure RAID to my Available Storage

Oh sorry, it wasn't obvious to me that you were asking how to use the greyhole-ui . There is guidance in the wiki for setting it up. Basically you have to manually mount the drives first so Amahi sees them. If it was me, I would go the Greyhole route. I use it with 3 drives and have had great success.

Re: Add a BIOS configure RAID to my Available Storage

Hello, First of all, greyhole-ui is not an app for RAID. Recommend you carefully read the description. We don't provide support for RAID, however there is some guidance in the wiki that might help. Keep in mind these are tutorials provided by the community and may be dated. Sorry we cannot help much.

Re: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'updates'

That is correct for the amahi.repo file.

Did you get this sorted out?

Re: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'updates'

Try

Code: Select all

sudo dnf clean all
Then try again.

Have you made any manual configuration changes recently?

That behavior indicates you don't have internet connection.

Also, openssl should be installed already with Amahi.

Re: Update to 5.XX Kernel with Fedora 27/Amahi 11

Good to hear you are happy with Amahi and it provides for your basic needs. We welcome your feedback if you choose to test Amahi 12. It's fairly stable, but not ready for production. BTW, you might consider trying docker-ce on Amahi, which is in BETA status. You could then use urbackup-server-docker...

Re: Update to 5.XX Kernel with Fedora 27/Amahi 11

This might be beyond the scope of this thread, but is there a specific reason the Amahi-Team chose Fedora? It feels like support for LTS in Fedora is very short and therefore even a recent Amahi install is outdated fairly quickly (by Linux-Community standards). This has been addressed may times in ...

Re: HDA computer stopped working

You can search the internet for guidance on setting a static IP on Fedora.

It’s just editing a file and adding some IP addresses.

You’ll have to reboot, then things should be working.
