i have identified the problem - a broken wd red drive. when i put it in my synology nas, it slowed down the system the same way and the synology os told me, that the hdd is not working correctly. even after a reformat the problem persisted. a feature in amahi that tells you that the hdd is broken wo...

thats good to know. at the moment i am still playing around with the old system, looking if my network card is broken. when running the command ifconfig, one line of eth:0 reads as following: RX packets:19531058 errors:0 dropped:113329 overruns:0 is all those dropped packets a hint for a broken netw...

thank you very much for your reply, also for suggesting omv, that looks nice too. i think im gonna install amahi 7 first. can i keep my ext4 formatted data disks or will i have to reformat them?

Hello, this problem occured with my amahi (6, ubuntu) system just out of nowhere last week. i have a greyhole storage pool with three 3 TB hdds and several smb shares. when transferring files to the largest share, the transfer rate wont go faster than 1 MB/s. Hi,

i want to add a folder that contains some html files as a webapp. I want to be able to access this by going to http://ip-of-my-hda:port, i.e. a specific port that redirects to the folder with the index.html file etc.

is that possible?

I also have this issue. Every 30 sec a new nullmailer entry appears in the syslog. Looking in one of the files located at /var/spool/nullmailer/queue i saw that those messages are fsck reports from greyhole.

Should i just do "apt-get remove nullmailer" and all is fixed?
