Re: iOS amahi app / Amahi Anywhere : not working anymore
Hi BigFoot, Thanks for your answer and sorry for the late reply. Yes, I'll eventually upgrade, when time allows it. At least it works locally, so I'll leave it for now. Regards, mnz (I try to not touch the server, as much as possible. A "set up and forget it" plan, so that it can serve its...

CLOSED: iOS amahi app / Amahi Anywhere : not working anymore
Hello, A couple problems I don't know how to fix. (Ubuntu 12.04) 1- I checked out the control panel today and the Server Status says "Stopped" (Red dot). not sure why as apart from problem #2, the server seems to be running fine -- at least locally. (From the HDA : nsloookup hda returns hd...

Re: Turning DHCP OFF in router cuts all network connectivity in HDA
Thank you so much, Bigfoot65. My HDA is back on track. Everything works as expected. Just for the record : 1- I set up my router's DHCP settings "Start IP Address" and "End IP Address" both to the same address, matching the HDA "original" IP recorded in the control pane...

Re: Turning DHCP OFF in router cuts all network connectivity in HDA
ok. Thanks Bigfoot.
- So does that mean that in the router's DHCP settings I hould set "Start IP Address" and "End IP Address" at 192.168.2.10 or something like that ?
- I've pasted the results of the interactive troubleshooter in Ubuntu paste bin. Should I put the link here?

Re: Turning DHCP OFF in router cuts all network connectivity in HDA
OK, my HDA is back in the control panel. Many many thanks. However, even after the HDA was given the 192.168.2.100 address, it doesn't work. The server has internet access, but clients don't seem to be given any address by the HDA. It's not acting as a server it seems. All clients were turned off, s...

Re: Turning DHCP OFF in router cuts all network connectivity in HDA
Yes that should work. Thanks! As for the HDA profile, if it's gone you might be able to email support to get it back. Otherwise a reinstall will be required. It should have asked if you were sure you wanted to delete. Strange... I didn't get any confirmation dialog. I will e-mail support and cross ...
