Static client ips
I want to hand out a static client ip so I can do persistent printer sharing with a friend in California (I want to be able to print to his printer). Any way to give a specific client a static ip?
I'd like to be able to print to it's printer. Can this be done? Could I associate that client with a specific username so that the VPN always assigns that user the same ip?

Just to keep you posted, it WAS in fact a problem with Windows security policies, Guests were explicitly forbidden to connect. I had to fix this in Local Security Policy editor. As for the "Requested Operation" error. . . that's one's still an unsolved mystry, but solving it just got a lot...
