Thanks, I haven't been able to figure it out yet myself, and was hoping to have some luck here.
I'll keep trying, and if I figure something out I'll post my solution.

Re: HTTP Redirect using ProxyPass
The Hosting a Web Site portion of the Wiki talks about hosting something on the HDA - I'm looking to have the HDA redirect requests for a specific FQDN to a different device on my network (i.e. server.mydomain.com reaches the HDA then redirects to 192.168.1.20, while the HDA is 192.168.1.10). I'm ha...

HTTP Redirect using ProxyPass
I have a number of containerised apps on my HDA that use ProxyPass to accept input on HTTP Port 80 or HTTPS Port 443 and redirect to the correct internal port, as is the norm with Amahi, but I would like to do some additional customisation. Since my system is behind a residential gateway with only o...

Re: nslookup hda shows OpenDNS server instead of amahi
It sounds like you may not be getting DHCP from Amahi. Do you have another DHCP server running on your network? Can you provide a copy of your ipconfig /all on your client machine?

Re: What is least painful way to replace landing zone drive?
For me, the easiest method would be to unmount the drive and use DD to create an exact copy, then modify the partition table on that newly copied drive to use all the available space, followed by mounting the new drive to the path of the old drive. I'm not sure that's the official recommendation, bu...

Re: Issues Accessing Netflix and BBC iPlayer
I ended up ditching my Orbi because of this very problem. I'm not sure why, but the Orbi appears to be doing something to the upstream requests - they don't terminate on the correct IP. I had some success changing the MAC address of my Orbi, but this only provided temporary relief. I switched to a G...

Re: Adding a second hard drive - manual instructions
It sounds like the drive already exists. Run this command and share the output:
Code: Select all
cat /etc/fstab

DNS returning invalid results on attached devices
I have been using Amahi for several years and across several releases. When I'm attempting to access some sites, intermittently, I will receive incorrect data when performing a DNS lookup on attached devices only. Here is an nslookup performed on my server using Google DNS: [root@localhost ~]# nsloo...

Re: DNS not resolving properly
I am marking this topic as closed.
My router was the source of the problem. It would appear that I am not the first person to experience this issue with a Netgear router. The resolution was to change the MAC Address of the router.

CLOSED: DNS not resolving properly
I'm having an issue with DNS resolution of external addresses on my network. For this example I'm using the local movie theatre's web site, as this one is consistently providing me with issues. When I do an nslookup on my HDA I get the correct DNS info, but when I do an nslookup on a PC that uses th...
