I finally got it to work, which entails that the watchdog and start on boot is off, then reboot, then reboot, then shutdown all network hardware and clients in the house, then turn on the amahi box, infrastructure, then all the devices. I'm happy i don't have to do this a lot. Thanks for your input ...

Ok guys, i am officially confused. I set the dhcp and dns servers to have their watchdog on, and rebooted and that allowed me to access owncloud and linfo. Good right? Whats really xonfusing me is if I install any other app, the same thing that originally happened with ownclood in the very beginning...

sorry about the trouble its causing everyone, but it still does not work, even after logging in and doing it from the server, or from any client. Same page not found error.

nope, exact same error, which specifically is: Oops! Google Chrome could not find owncloud.(myusername).com
I have confirmed this with multiple browsers

Pretty simple actually, when the webapp is installed it tells me to go to http://owncloud, which sends me to owncloud.(myusername).com. This ends up as a page not found, and I have no idea how to fix it. Any insight would help greatly.
