probably was NTFS the issue.
I've also added the drive with the installation of Ubuntu. I read that can cause some problems.

too late, i just started the reinstall of Amahi. We'll see what will happen next :) I've followed every step from the wiki, add the hd to fstab, mount it, reboot but no success. The wiki is clear and yet no hd in the storage pool. The 'strange' thing is the hd is mounted, it's appears also under /va...

I've formatted the drive to ext4 but i've got the same result > no hd in the storage pool
then i reformatted the drive to ext3 but unfortunately the same result.

I'm going to reinstall everything and see what will happen then.
