Im a noobie but i think i may be having a similar issue, when i mount my shares locally i try to copy into the local mount and receive a permission denied unable to create folder in this destination. When i run under gksudo nautilus the locally mounted share no longer shows up. Frustrating for sure ...

Ah, that's a great idea, so I should create a share called var/hda/drivename and then copy files from it onto my other various var/hda/sharename folders? Thanks for the help, the support for this system is awesome!

For further clarification I know that sometimes directly altering files in a greyhole storage pool can break greyhole and I am also aware that storage of files on the drive with Ubuntu and amahi installed on it is not recommended.
