Re: Before I go any further...

That's what I suspected. I think I have the hardware for another small PC that I can use as a standalone web server that I can put in the DMZ and forget about.

Before I go any further...

I don't want to spend too much time trying to get Amahi to do what I want if its not the best tool for the job and I am finding it difficult to do what I thought would be easy. Basically I wanted to use the machine as a home server for music and stuff and also host a small website. I have managed to...

Re: Joomla and phpMyAdmin errors

Installing the package seems to have worked, the question now becomes what are the default username and password for mysql and joomla?

I will PM the logs to you. BTW I used the fedora f9 x86_64 disk if this makes any difference.

Thanks

Re: Joomla and phpMyAdmin errors

just a thought, was I supposed to tick the webserver option during the initial install? I don't recall the instructions saying so but maybe I missed it.

Re: Joomla and phpMyAdmin errors

Cannot complete installation

I have gotten to the hda-install step but it keeps failing with the following [root@localhost ~]# hda-install XYZXYZ Creating verbose log file '/root/hda-install.log'. (use it for submitting support requests or bug reports). Retrieving install code ... Install code looks good. Stopping background so...

Unix File System?

Can a basic Amahi install read the Unix File System as used in Freenas. I ask because I want to move my Media Server from Freenas to Amahi and all my files are stored on UFS so need to know if I should copy the files off and reformat the drive then copy back or can I use it as is?
