Re: Application install locks up HDA control panel
I'm doing the OS updates now, and checking the drive for issues. Overall, everything on the machine spikes the load causing service issues. Doing an dnf update spiked the load to a 6/4 for about 10 minutes when it was doing the delta RPM checks. I've had delta updates on previous installs of Amahi a...

The database backup did eventually install, but, from install push to install complete was probably 25 minutes.

Application install locks up HDA control panel
Good evening (to your NAR peoples), Amahi 10, latest updates, Intel i7-2640M, 7200rpm Hard Drive, 8GB of ram. When I install applications in the HDA Control Panel the installation appears to hang, spikes the load on my machine for sometimes 10 minutes to a unsustainable 8.0 or 9.0 load on a 4 thread...

Re: SOLVED: HDA Update last night, re: plex
It happened again last night after I installed some programs from the Amahi store. I traced the issue down to the excludes line in the /etc/yum.conf file . If there are two excludes lines, it only accepts the last one. So, the fix was to add it to the excludes line as this: exclude=monitorix* amahi-...

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex
Database is intact. I ran the following to correct the problem: Changed the users of my database, from plex:users to apache:users. It was half done. Most people will NOT have to do this. sudo chown apache:users /var/lib/plexmediaserver/ Allowed the amahi-plex.service to start on boot: sudo systemctl...

Re: HDA Update last night, re: plex
Update:
Found the service that would start plex. It's amahi-plex.service. I'm trying now to figure out how to start it without errors. It won't start on boot now. But, that's correctable.
I'll update when I know more.
Hopefully, my database is intact.

Re: Apple Airport Extreme & Guest Network
What IP Addresses do you set to get to the internet? The 172.16.42.x/24 or the 192.168.1.x/24 addresses? This is definitely caused by Amahi. But, your solution does not lie with Amahi. It's functioning as it should. Doling out IP addresses and preforming DNS functions for the 192.168.1.x/24 network....

Re: Local DNS server not working properly
Anything that was build, like this morning, works.
Anything new that I add, doesn't work. Any ideas?
Edit: Restarted my HDA services. All good now!
Thanks for pushing the fix quickly!
