I then did a reboot and was hoping that it would fix the problem but it did not. I will see if i can shut down anything el...

Re: Vpn stop when try to bridging
(found this on another part of the vpn forum) Not strictly true. Providing your amahi server is configured to forward then packets from the VPN will arrive at the other servers. (http://www.ducea.com/2006/08/01/how-to- ... -in-linux/) The issues is then the return packets will be delivered to your D...

Re: Sytem Mounting My usb hard drive with wrong name
Hi I found out how to fix this problem. I was listed in multiple forums but i was unaware of how Linux reads the drive information. 1: I was unaware that each drive is mounted with a name that is listed as a file folder under media 2: If this file name is taken then it will add another and put a _ b...

Hi all, I have been reading this forum and I have setup router based VPN tunnels before using ipsec but I would love to be able to setup a permanent tunnel between 2 amahi servers that are currently running dhcp and dns servers. Re: Sytem Mounting My usb hard drive with wrong name
Well I am running Ubuntu 12.04 desktop so it auto mounts the usb drive. So the info for adding USB sticks is out. But like i said after a reboot it changes the name of the mount point. by adding a _ to the end of it. It is easy to unmount the drive but to remount the drive with a certain name is wha...
