Re: Problems setting up for extra users
Have you tried to map the network drive yourself from within your home on your LAN, using the username and password of your remote guests?
This would at least prove that the share is working locally.

Re: Last call for logo! Please voice your opinion!
Hi As others have said, i much prefer the dice. The stack looks to much like a HDD icon, the propeller looks bland and similar to other logos. The dice does seem to imply "everything in one box". But i am not so sure on the dice variations - i could not decide on which single colour varian...

Configuring Android for VPN access
Have you got your Android based phone connecting to your HDA via the VPN? Here is how to give your Android VPN access to your HDA. I have my G1/Dream working, it was easy once i realised that i had to create a .p12 file with the Amahi openvpn certificates in, to be able to import them into my Androi...

Re: VPN access for Android devices (HTC specifically)
I have just got my G1/Dream to connect to my HDA via the VPN. It is a rooted G1 with the Cyanogen mod. It was fairly easy to do, once i had worked out how to put the certificates into a .p12 file for importing into my phone. I have a ready made .p12 file if you want? I wrote my way up, and its on th...

Re: VPN connection
Hi
You mentioned that you have opened the ports on your router, i assume that you have actually forwarded the ports to your Amahi server?
You are also trying to VPN in from outside of your home network?

Re: VPN connection
Hi
You have not mentioned what OS you are using on the client PC? Also you do not mention which version of HDAconnect you are using, as i believe that Win 7 does not play well with HDAconnect2.
Cheers

Re: Amahi article in Micro Mart magazine UK
They asked several months ago, for suggestions about a useful server using existing hardware that people had to hand (like an old PC). I emailed and suggested Amahi, but i never got a reply. Then several months later i see this article. I do not know if it was my suggestion or if several people all ...
