Re: Roku App Can't Find Roku Since HDA Install
I do not know if this has been solved, but wish I still had mine so I could troubleshoot with you. One thing I can suggest, power cycle all of your devices (ie unplug/plug in the Roku and reboot your phone) and see if that does it. How exactly does the Roku App connect to the box, do you have to put...

Re: OpenVPN & Android Jelly Bean
No problem at all. I thank you for pointing out the issues with that wiki page and I will rewrite it in the near future.

Re: OpenVPN & Android Jelly Bean
I do not like how the wiki page for Android is written, they make it too hard. Those links for the Cert files on that page? On your Android phone, download those files to a folder that they will not get deleted (I made a specific OpenCerts/ directory on my SD Card, you will also need to wget these f...

Re: Run apps outside of Amahi
Installing Plex should not break anything within Amahi, but like bigfoot said there is always a possibility. Make sure you read posts in the wiki first. Also you can try Amahi out in a virtual machine first just to make sure its right for you!! [ Post made via Android ] http://forums.amahi.org/image...

Yes it is OK to stop it. If you are not using it you can stop the service in the web dashboard and make sure it is not monitored either.

Re: Moving from Windows Home Server
Welcome to the Amahi forums! Now my opinion is a bit biased because I am not a windows fan, but like yourself, I did come from Windows (only difference I use it on my desktops as well, not just my Amahi server). I have not used Greyhole personally but I have only heard good things about it, I know t...

Re: Custom Web-apps and Shares
What was discussed in the IRC chat was what I did and did not resolve the problem, as the php engine would not run the site. I tried many sites and scripts that I know work with the current release of php and still no go.

Custom Web-apps and Shares
OK, I am having a little problem, and this problem arose with the new versions of Amahi. I test all of my PHP written sites on my home server before I upload them to my web server, to make changes, test bugs, new features, etc. I do this because its the easiest way to test. Back int he day, before A...

Re: Restore backed-up files after fresh FC12/Amahi5 install
IIRC, /files should be owned by apache users (but I could be wrong). Another thing to look at is, the files that are there has no affect on what you can see, if you have not setup a share under the shares tab in http://hda/setup, then you will not see it, that has to be there. This will not overwrit...
