Amahi auto email function wanterd
I would love to see a feature added to Amahi that lets me put in an SMTP acct, and setup so that Amahi will email me if the machine is rebooted. Anyone done this? If there is no one click amahi way I would love a Cron/Postfix walkthrough to help me set this up.

Speedtest Mini
I installed the Speedtest Mini app and I can only ever get 5Mbit up and 5 Mbit down. If I test to speedtest.net using the same server I get 30Mbit up and 50Mbit down (Verizon FIOS). Anyone know what the deal is with this APP?

Re: Mount shares locally script errors on Ubunto 12.04 serve
Is it located here /home/firstadminuser? Who owns the file? It should be owned by fristadminuser:users and not root. I presume the user name in the file matches the one you added to /etc/init.d/mount_shares_locally file. I fixed it. Turns out the issue was that when i created the filename I copied ...

Re: Mount shares locally script errors on Ubunto 12.04 serve
Ensure you followed the wiki guidance exactly. It sounds like you did not set the permissions on the .smb_credentials correctly. Im pretty sure I followed the wiki exactly. I dont see anything there about setting the permission on the .smb_credentials file. It just says to create one. here is the l...

Mount shares locally script errors on Ubunto 12.04 server
I installed the "mount_shares_locally" script per the instructions on the Amahi wiki, but I get the following error when trying to start the service(fyi, the "myuser" is actually the user account on the machine when I setup Amahi: * Mounting Samba shares locally... Mounting share...

Re: Cloud backup for Amahi
Thats cool. THanks for that info. I am interested in an app that lets me do more. If that app was on click with Amahi, but had options for the other services I would bite. I would even pay for that app.

Cloud backup for Amahi
Anyone know if there is an app for cloud based backup. I thought it would be cool to designate a Gdrive, Drop box, Skydrive, etc. account and setup a share to backup to the cloud. Maybe Amazon S3 or Azure would be better from the standpoint of cost per terabyte.
