I would try adding your HDA IP address in the user DNS server primary and secondary blocks. Then restart your router and release/renew your client network connection. Did you refresh the IP on your client? If so, then it should work with DNS. Also ensure your router does not have a DNS server entry setup pointing somewhere else.
