I'll check that log when I get home, but I doubt it's a connectivity issue.
The amahi box navigates the internet just fine, and when I click install it goes through a few phases of things like "installing dependencies, etc..", but then get's stuck on preparing to install.

Re: N00b MySQL Server Database Question
Thanks for the response, Bigfoot. Yes I know I can forward the port, but I was asking if it was safe to use the fedora box for other mySQL databases when the root password for mySQL can't be changed because of Amahi. If I want to run a web accessible database, do I need to do it on a different machi...

So I'm running Amahi on Fedora 14 and I like it, thanks for all your hard work. I also do some database programming in MySQL and I'd like to use my home server as a testbed for a PHP/MySQL database. Since everyone who has Amahi knows what my MySQL root password it is, it seems dangerous to expose po...

Re: MySQL and Rail Application Failed to Start

I fixed that, but I still don't have access to the dashboard even though the DHCP and drive networking still works. Also the website still says awaiting install. I also restarted httpd. What ar...

Also, when I login to the Amahi website, it says that I'm awaiting install. I don't know if that helps.

MySQL and Rail Application Failed to Start
This is on a Fedora 14 install. I installed Amahi a while ago and set up folders and users to use on a home network. I also allowed Amahi to act as my DHCP. Later on, I was doing some work with MySQL and I changed the root password. Amahi continues to function as the DHCP and the file shares work as...
