I'm using monoWall as my router. All I did was set my HDA as one of the Primary DNS entries in my router. So whenever I go to the requested hda app URL, my HDA DNS redirects to the internal IP. So, using that same logic, I'm assuming you can just set a staic DNS entry in your system to the Amahi box...
