The top half was done via SSH into the server and the ones below WINDOWS CLIENT were done via CMD from a Windows Client

Im a newbie to this aswell . . .:-) as it was an issue to do with users and temporary file I thought ill create a new user. I created a new user via Amahi and then logged in the windows machine as that and the temporary message didn't come up. I thought well it must be something to do with that user...

temporary profile issue STILL exists, although elevation problem fixed.

i resolved the elevation issue by using command:
net groupmap add ntgroup="Domain Admins" unixgroup=users rid=512 type=d
This fixed the elevation issue where no matter what username i used including root i could not even enable windows update.

I formatted my windows machine and all seems ok now 
But when logging out it seems windows has created a temporary profile. I have tried loggin out and back in and it has made no difference. Im getting the baloon message saying a temporary profile has been loaded
