Re: Crashplan unable to connect
This resolved my issue. I was having a terrible time and didn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. One thing I did notice is when I uninstalled, the entire crashplan folder was left intact. So after reading this thread I deleted the folder rebooted and reinstalled. Fixed! Thanks for the info an...

Re: Bandwidth/Resource hog???
For anyone else that may end up looking, I think I discovered the real issue. Hardware. It seems that the Realtek NIC on my Asus MB will 'lock up' and only give you a 10mb connection (for no specific reason). The fix is to not only power down, but remove any power source at all for a few minutes and...

Bandwidth/Resource hog???
I've been looking around and haven't found a thread here or at the SABnzbd forums that fit well. I've installed a few things and I'm very pleased with where I ended up (dlna, SABnzbd...) on my HDA. I'm still trying to learn even the basics but I'm a little confused. When I first installed SABnzbd I ...

Re: OMG... PLEASE HELP!!! --- SOLVED
Update for all who may read...
My problem was a corrupt Primary GPT table. My distress came from the fact I'm not very familiar with GPT or LVM2.
Now on to where some of my data disappeared to in Greyhole.

Re: OMG... PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks for the fast response. I quickly looked over that, which seems to be about adding the drive but I'm going to go over it a little slower and get what I can from it. The better I understand the basics the better chance of recovering. I know I read someplace else during my research, the scary pa...

OMG... PLEASE HELP!!! --- SOLVED
My apologies if this is the wrong section but it's a close to a fit as I can see. Background... My WHS was going out the door, 2 hard drives failing. I managed to install Amahi with a fancy new 3TB and pulled all data over to it. Then shipped the failing drives out for warrantee. New drives come bac...

Re: how to stream to Boxee
Sorry to revive an older thread, but for those who may be looking. I'm recently new to Amahi and have jumped in with both feet. I concur that SMB works just fine for Boxee. Depending on your permissions you may have to log in or open up that good ol guest account on your HDA, which is what I opted t...
