Re: New build install
I've finally worked through the install. It's been slow primarily due to lack of time. My server is up and running. I installed a $14 network card that worked right out of the box with Fedora and I've managed to avoid installing a GUI. I used the Amahi express disk. Someday I'll learn to make the on...

Re: New build install
Yes. It installed but won't boot. Hangs when starting the send mail client or some such thing. Where do I begin to solve this?

SOLVED: New build install
Hello, I've been using Amahi for several years now, most recently the ubuntu version. Because I've outgrown my old machine and ubuntu amahi is no longer supported I decided to build a new machine (my first new build) and move to amahi 7. The new machine will run Mint just fine, upon full install, so...

Re: Greyhole error, nothing copied from LZ
Thank you. It is cranking through all the files now, no errors in sight. Not sure what the problem was the first time.
I can't say enough about how great Amahi is. And the support you provide is fantastic.

Re: Greyhole error, nothing copied from LZ
Good evening, thanks for helping me out with this problem. Yes, I set up the Greyhole and the shares the way described in the link, and Greyhole is working now, but it has only 9GB of the 200GB+ I put in the shares. Most of the original files I put in the shares are not being moved into Greyhole, I ...

Greyhole error, nothing copied from LZ
Installed Ubuntu last night and most all seems well but greyhole seems to have a problem. This is my first time running Greyhole. I have two 1TB drives, each partitioned 2x500GB. 1 partition has the OS, the other three are assigned to the grey hole pool. The data I copy to the system from a backup i...

CrashPlan Install
Hello, my new HDA install is working well so far and meeting my needs - thanks for the great product. I decided to purchase the CrashPlan option the other day but I am having trouble using it. My HDA is headless. First - I noticed the app is still Beta, will this work in my free account or do I need...

Re: Installed with two drives
Thank you for the guidance. The drive was not showing up in the dashboard, and it was not listed with the HDA-diskmount script. So I followed the directions to mount a second drive and after a couple attempts I did it correctly. Now the drive shows up in the dashboard. If you don't mind, please veri...

Installed with two drives
Hello, I apologize if this is obvious to all of you, but I've searched for about an hour and I'm not sure I have the answer to my question. I forgot I had a second hard drive installed in my computer when I installed Amahi. I realize that I should have had the second drive unplugged during install, ...
