Re: mount_shares_locally Script Isn't Working
Okay that seems to have worked ^.^ The wording on the wiki page is a little confusing and made it sound like I needed to use the password listed in the page linked to that bullet point ("Please see Database Root Password for the appropriate login password.") But all seems to be working now...

Re: mount_shares_locally Script Isn't Working
Okay in the mount_shares_locally script I set my username to my first admin user (which is my username) on line 12. On line 25, I changed the password to "hda" - I don't believe I ever changed the default password for MariaDB... So currently this is how that line reads: mysql -u amahihda -...

SOLVED: mount_shares_locally Script Isn't Working
I'm not sure why this stopped working, but the script isn't executing properly. I went through the walkthrough here: https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Mount_Shares_Locally And removed the script and re-installed but to no avail. I *can* mount the shares manually using this command or similar: sudo mo...

Re: New computer won't accept credentials to access shares
Okay I'm not sure this was my favorite solution, but I did figure something out... this post gave me a possible clue: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1093290/windows-10-login-information-for-accessing-samba-share-protected-directory-locat I tried the suggestions give for #2, and those didn't work......

Re: New computer won't accept credentials to access shares
Hi Bigfoot - sorry for the delay, my school semester began and it has been intense from the get-go. When I look at Windows Credential Manager, I don't see anything that looks like it needs to be removed (there's nothing at all in Windows Credentials and Certificate-based credentials). So I'm not sur...

SOLVED: New computer won't accept credentials to access shares
I just got a new (to me) Surface - it's running a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, all up-to-date. I can pull up my shares in Explorer with no problem by typing \\HDA - they are all listed. But when I try to log into the shares my credentials are rejected. I've tried with just my username and with \...

Re: Getting Greyhole Service to start after adding new drives
Okay think I figured it out... I need to be in /var/hda/files/drives. I see the drives and the /gh folder there. I added the Greyhole Log app, too, and I think it's just taking Greyhole a long time to work through everything. So I'll be patient and hopefully it can sort everything on the good drive ...

Re: Getting Greyhole Service to start after adding new drives
Okay I went through the painful process of reinstalling the OS from the ground up... at least I'm running Amahi 10 now. I'm not sure if everything is as it should be, though. I set up the HDA completely, then once I verified that it was running okay, I plugged in the pool drives and set those up usi...
