When asked for user name and password, it is looking for your amahi user name and password. This could be the first admin user you created on install or any other users added afterwards. Network Password?
I tried to save a file on one of my windows 7 client machine to the HDA, was asked for a password, tried the amahi password, failed, tried the fedora password, failed, what now?

I was hoping for a user who had experienced this problem and their input, but thanks.Check their web site as there might be some help there. We get it installed, but how it works or does not work is out of our control.

Crashplan issues with added external drive
Crashplan ran out of memory backing up one of my network machines, so I added another 1TB external drive. Crashplan doesn't seem to recognize that new drive, even though the server shows it as available space. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure about that. Best way to install via USB is to follow the wiki guidance. http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_14_usb_install I have tested this a few times in the past and had no issues. If you do not get a clean install, Amahi may not install and work correctly. Best to use the DVD, but ...

The DVD would not play - it is/was the live CD via USB.That does not seem the behavior of the Fedora 14 DVD. It may be the live CD or something else ...
double check it's the full dvd.

...the system simply would not go to Add the Amahi repository! It asked me to reboot and then add a new user. Help!
