Computer Account For Amahi Server
Hi Folks! I think this would be the right place to ask this. I have a batch file that runs on one of my networked computers running windows. I am using the task scheduler to run it and I want it to run whether I am logged into the computer or not. It is a batch file that runs at 6am every day to pri...

How to remove (Turn Off) PDC function
Hi folks. I had my amahi server setup to be the PDC for my windows network. I would like to remove that function and just return to a windows workgroup environment with as little trouble as possible. Any ideas on the best way to proceed?
Thanks,

PDC with amahi on Ubuntu
I am in the process of installing Amahi on Ubuntu right now and I was wondering if there is anything I need to do differently to set it up to be a PDC than when it was on Fedora? Or is everything still the same?
Thanks,
John

Advice on Move to Ubuntu....
Hi all. I am currently running Amahi on Fedora and would love to change over to the new Ubuntu release but not sure of the steps I would need to take to preserve the data on my greyhole drives and such. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Re: Primary Domain Controller Issues
No! I for one do not want it removed! I just want to figure out how to get it to work right. Being able to replace my Windows PDC was a big plus for me with amahi but I just need to figure this issue out.

John

Re: Amahi 6.1 Express CD Install Keeps Hanging
Ok here is where I'm at and maybe you can give some guidance. Used the express disk and now it blew right through the fedora install and rebooted and now it is sitting saying "Please wait while amahi is configured...this may take a few minutes" which would be fine except it hasnt been a fe...

Re: Amahi 6.1 Express CD Install Keeps Hanging
Before using the full fedora install I thought I would give something else a try. I remembered that I had another machine laying around with a Pentium 4 2.4ghz processor so I swapped it out for the celeron that was in there and lo and behold it seems to be installing without a hitch! Evidently it wa...
