Thanks I learned a lot.
PS I live about 15 mins from GB aka pommepause in Montreal.

Re: Network Troubleshooter - failed step 8
Thanks that did it. Nothing looked bad per sebut I renamed 1001-Ampache.conf to .bak then started http successfully. My dashboard is back.
Next step is to reinstall Ampache the correct way.

Initial state was in fact Enable/Stopped. It wouldn't start so I disabled it then re-enabled it but it's stuck o...

Re: Preferred method to upgrade apps
Does one-click require the dashboard? If so, is there a sure-fire way to get to it without starting with a browser's address bar?

Re: Preferred method to upgrade apps
Here it is. It sounded simple but it takes full abstraction of Amahi's structure. I'll be working on this over the weekend.

Re: Preferred method to upgrade apps
Thanks. It looks like I chose the wrong method although I couldn't find info stating the contrary within the forum or elsewhere. Things have gotten worse because now I cannot access the HDA dashboard now URL or IP. DHCP is working though as connectivity and shares are good. I couldn't find anything ...

Preferred method to upgrade apps
What is the best way to upgrade an app? I tried doing it "manually" for Ampache but it didn't work ie. As per Ampache instructions.
