Connect to another OC server?
I have an OC server running on a web server under a TLD (.com) I own. I connect my desktop, iPhone, and laptop to that server. I would like to connect my Amahi server to it as well. How do I do this? The owncloud app install is for a server only and not a client. I have a headless fc14 amahi server....

Re: How To: Migrate from Fedora 14 to Ubuntu 12
Great write up! It should also be useful for anyone planing to upgrade from Amahi 6 to 7 using Fedora on both old and new once Amahi 7 is released. The key is the details of how to transfer your storage pool and "The Holy Trinity" of apps.

Re: Show Us your home server
Thought it was about time to post my server and network. Still need to do a little more house cleaning on it though. Looks like a nice setup. I had a rack at home previously, but my wife insisted it be removed. I deal with servers all day at work and have several at home as well and I guess I was b...

Re: Ready to give up Greyhole and Amahi, will test more
For those of you who are willing to use the latest Greyhole version despite it not being Amahi approved/tested: The wiki page for Greyhole updating now contains instructions for updating or even adding Greyhole as an update repo for yum so GH will be updated when you run "yum update". Doe...

Re: Linux newbie has screwed up, please help. Lost files pro
Just to ensure you get the files, you can use winscp to connect to the box, browse to the directory and copy them over to your desktop pc. You can then delete them from the server and upload them via the share folder per normal.

Re: Lots of index.html files in /root folder - What are they
I too have the latest install headless, but I have no index files in /root/. Have you viewed any of them to see what is in them? What's the file sizes?

Re: My experience converting from WHS to Amahi
Good to hear it was successful for you. I'm giving thought to converting my 21 harddrive 18TB WHS server over to amahi. I have 14TB full at the moment, so I have a big project ahead of me.

Re: Show Us your home server
I'm a whs v1 user on my primary media server which is a Norco 4220 server with 18TB usable (4TB free) at the moment and still growing. It will max at 40TB. Everything is duplicated on it as well. http://www.rubiconsahara.com/up/images/39801563988679536252.jpg I've setup a headless Amahi media server...
