Finally found the problem. It was a permissions issue all along, as all my problems with Amahi seem to have been. The issue was that Amahi, when it mounts the drives, does not set permissions for users, only root. Thus, my /var/hda/files/drives/drive6 permissions were drwx------. Which caused failur...

My mount points have always been /var/hda/files/drives. Now that you mention it it seems wrong considering /var/hda/drives/ is empty. However it has never caused me any problems.
